Inuit.css is a powerful, scalable, Sass-based, BEM, OOCSS framework. In this episode, we will create a simple page on modern communication protocol used for Internet using the Inuit.css framework!

Things to learn with Inuit CSS

incorporate inside a project

  1. navigate to the project folder with the file index.html

    $ tree                                                                                                                                                                          1 ↵
    └── index.html
    0 directories, 1 file
  2. clone the inuit.css repository:

    git clone git://github.com/csswizardry/inuit.css.git css
  3. delete non-development files (if you feel so):

    cd css
    rm README.md LICENSE .gitignore
  4. start watching the sass files:

    sh watch.sh

    If there encoding error like Encoding::UndefinedConversionError: "\xE2" from ASCII-8BIT to UTF-8, then add @charset "UTF-8"; at the start of each file
